State Development Corporation of Thuringia – LEG

The State Development Corporation of Thuringia (LEG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the State of Thuringia. Established in 1992, LEG is headquartered in Erfurt and covers the following services and tasks:

• Investment promotion: Attracting investors and offering them a full service in the implementation of their projects
• International relations: Promoting international activities and exports of Thuringian companies abroad
• Technology promotion: fostering the development of industry clusters and technological innovation in Thuringia
• Qualified Personnel Management by way of the Thuringian Agency for Skilled Personnel (ThAFF)
• Development and management of industrial and commercial estates
• Real estate management
• Urban and regional development

LEG has assisted over 730 companies locate in Thuringia since 1995. These projects produced more than 42,240 jobs.
