Already in the past two years, “Site Selection” classed Thuringia among the top five locations in Western Europe. And also Germany comes out top in 2010 as the winner in the category “Western Europe” followed by Ireland and Great Britain. “Site Selection”is, by its own account, the world’s leading publication for location management. It analyzed several studies on the economic attractiveness of more than 1,000 sites; weighing a number of criteria such as how successful the sites were at attracting capital investment and creating jobs in 2010.
