Accessibility information

LEG Thüringen strives to make its websites accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Which areas are not barrier-free?

Sections that are not accessible:

  • PDF downloads that were posted before 2021. PDF files posted later will increasingly be created in an accessible version or replaced by one as soon as possible. All files are marked accordingly.
  • Partly subtitles of videos. In the case of newly posted videos, we endeavour to provide subtitles as soon as possible after publication.

A relaunch of the website in 2022 will complete the removal of some barriers.

Arbitration procedure

The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities has a conciliation board pursuant to section 16 BGG. The conciliation board has the task of resolving conflicts between persons with disabilities and public agencies of the federal government.

You can call in the conciliation board if you are not satisfied with the answers you get from the contact option above. The aim is not to find winners or losers. Rather, the aim is to find a solution to a problem together and out of court with the help of the conciliation board.

The conciliation procedure is free of charge. You do not need legal advice either.

You can find all the information about the conciliation procedure on the conciliation board's website. There you can read how a conciliation procedure works and how to apply for conciliation. You can also submit the application in plain language or in German sign language.

You can reach the conciliation board at the following address:
