- The "Thuringian Innovation Centre Mobility" (ThIMo), founded in 2011 at the TU Ilmenau, is an interdisciplinary and internationally positioned science and development centre that is equally science-oriented and business-oriented. It concentrates on the solution of urgent scientific tasks of mobility development. The light, environmentally friendly, intelligent, digitised and complex networked mobility system is the focus of research. - The centre maintains cooperative relationships with more than 200 international and national partners from industry and science.
