- The company is an agricultural enterprise with plant and animal production facilities. In addition to the production of high-quality agricultural products, this production in the company serves as a basis for demonstration and information tasks as well as for applied research tasks for a future-orientated and sustainable agriculture in Thuringia. Furthermore, the company deals with current socio-politically and agricultural-politically relevant questions of agricultural production, also in interaction with nature and environmental protection and with water management with the aim of gaining information and knowledge for decision-making processes on a societal level in Thuringia. In addition, the company deals with the training and further education of skilled workers.
- Established in March 1994. - The object of the company is in particular realized by: - inter-farm agricultural training with apprenticeship, - performance testing of certain animal species including product quality, - experiments and applied research in the fields of arable and plant cultivation, animal breeding, animal husbandry and animal nutrition, - the development and further development of competences for efficient, environmentally friendly, animal-friendly and ecological agriculture, - demonstration and information tasks for the promotion of an efficient and environmentally and animal-friendly as well as ecological agriculture in Thuringia with the production and sale of agricultural products, - the administration and management of real estate, insofar as it serves the promotion and fulfilment of the aforementioned business purposes.
