Indian Automotive Supplier is investing in Thuringia
The Bagla Group - headquartered in Aurangabad, India – is one of the largest auto component manufacturing entities in Western India.
Aurangabad Electricals Ltd. (AE) – one of the Bagla Group companies – will invest about Euro 12 mio in a new manufacturing plant in Arnstadt / Thuringia. During the delegation trip of the Thuringian Economics Minister Höhn to India this important FDI project has been announced. The newly founded company AE Deutschland GmbH will produce aluminium castings for oil and water pumps in its new production facilities in Thuringia. 40 jobs will be created.
For some years AE Ltd. already has maintained a supplier relationship to the Thuringian company GPM Geräte- und Pumpenbau Merbelsrod. The new factory will produce parts for the German and European automotive industry. Construction will start mid 2014 and production is expected to kick off in 2015.
In India, Aurangabad Electricals Ltd. operates at 8 locations as supplier for local OEMs such as VW, Daimler, GM, Fiat, TATA, Mahindra, Nissan. A total of 2,000 employees generate a turnover of about Euro 100 mio worldwide.back
