Object
(1) The purpose of the cooperative is to promote the acquisition and economy of its members through joint business. 2. The object of the undertaking shall be the production of crop and animal products, their processing and the marketing and sale of products. To this end, the cooperative may also maintain the necessary hilfa farms. To the extent that this is likely to promote the object of the undertaking, the cooperative may also acquire, participate in such undertakings or form existing subsidiaries. (3) The company also covers the further management of the assets remaining in the cooperative. Where this appears appropriate for the maintenance or creation of jobs, for increasing the profitability of the undertaking or for creating independent livelihoods for its members, the cooperative may partially lease, rent or sell its business. 4. The extension of business operations to non-members shall be permitted. (5) The company continues to be concerned with the production of energy, e.g. through the operation of photovoltaic systems.
