- Support for public and private property developers, companies, and authorities in order to implement design and construction projects with the suitable designer. Interested persons can find offices and architects on the basis of individual search criteria, inform themselves on implemented properties or those being under construction, and get advise in relation to the handling of design competitions. The Chamber's Websites provide direct access to the registers of structural, interior, landscape architects and urban designers as well as of expert architects and specialised designers. The Chamber of Architects also gives advice on the appropriate kind of inter-disciplinary cooperation for the construction project concerned.

- The Thuringian Chamber of Architects (AKT) promotes the construction culture and vouches for quality: Only members of the AKT or another chamber of state architects or urban designers are allowed to maintain the job designation "architect". For that purpose, a qualified academic training and a practical vocation experience of at least two years are presupposed.
