- Geothermal energy: The company develops and markets the coaxial BD-Koax® geothermal probe system for the geothermal cooling of industrial processes in order to dissipate low temperature waste heat in a climate-friendly manner and store it for later use. The probes are used for heating and cooling and have lengths of up to 100 m and inner diameters of approx. 150 mm. The costs for a probe are in the range of a conventional U-probe, but with far better heat transfer and storage capacity. This is of particular advantage in case of combined heating and cooling systems.
