the operational implementation of waste disposal in the district of Weimarer Land as it results as a task of the district on the basis of § 2 paragraph 1 sentence 1 of the Act on the Avoidance, Reduction, Recycling and Disposal of Waste and the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (Thüringer Abfallwirtschafts- und Altlastengesetz - ThAbfAG) of 15 June 1999 (GVBl. 1999 p. 385). These include, in particular, 1. the collection, transport and handling of household waste, bulky waste, waste paper and waste equipment as well as green, branch and shrub cuttings, 2. the recycling of waste paper, 3. the disposal of hazardous waste, 4. the aftercare of the disused landfills Blankenhain and Buttelstedt in the entire area of the Weimarer Land district as well as other commissioned operational activities.
