Object
(1) In particular, in the exercise of the public purpose in the context of services of general interest, the promotion, coordination and implementation of the activities of urban marketing in order to increase the awareness, profile and image of the state capital Erfurt. (2) The company is entitled to take economic action and to carry out all legal acts that may promote the purpose of the company. In order to achieve its goals, the company sets itself the following tasks in particular: - support in the profiling of the state capital Erfurt as an attractive city destination and its presentation on national and international markets as the state capital of the Free State of Thuringia, as a location for congresses, exhibitions and fairs, as a city with a rich cultural past and a living contemporary culture taking into account the interests of the people of Erfurt, - Support in shaping the image of the state capital as a residential, commercial and business location as well as as a location for science and sport, - Development of the tourism industry as an important economic factor for the state capital Erfurt and the urban area of Erfurt, while at the same time promoting a socially and environmentally friendly tourism with respect for the city/surrounding relationship, - promotion and support of the local city customs, city-defining festivals and festivals, which are suitable for a wide national audience. (3) The company is entitled to carry out all business activities that support the marketing of the state capital Erfurt as a whole. 4. The Company shall promote the establishment and maintenance of cooperation relationships with other undertakings which are necessary for the enforcement of the company's purpose.
