the establishment, maintenance and operation of workshops for people with disabilities in accordance with the applicable social law regulations; the workshops offer those disabled persons who, because of the nature and severity of the disability, cannot be employed on the general labour market, or who cannot yet be re-employed on the general labour market, appropriate vocational training and employment at a remuneration commensurate with their performance from the work result and enable them to maintain, develop, increase or regain their performance and earning capacity, thereby developing their personality; the company operates one or more residential facilities for disabled and needy people, the company operates one or more day-structuring measures for elderly people with disabilities, the company operates one or more participation centers for people with disabilities, possibly in connection with the person-centered complex service within the framework of integration assistance

- Establishment, maintenance and operation of workshops for persons with disabilities in accordance with the applicable social legislation; the workshops offer those persons with disabilities who, due to the nature and severity of their disability, cannot, not yet or not yet again be employed on the general labour market, appropriate vocational training and employment at a wage commensurate with their performance from the work result and enables them to maintain, develop, increase or regain their performance and earning capacity and, in doing so, to further develop their personality - the company operates one or more residential homes for people with disabilities and in need of assistance, the company operates one or more day-structuring measures for people with disabilities who have grown old, the company operates one or more partial participation centres for people with disabilities, if applicable in connection with the person-centred complex service within the framework of integration assistance.

- Founded in 1993 - Suhler Werkstätten gemeinnützige GmbH is a workshop for handicapped people recognised by the Federal Employment Agency and a training company of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. At present approx. 250 persons are employed in the enterprise, of it 200 humans with handicap as well as 50 employees and responsible persons. - Member of the welfare association "Der Paritätische Thüringen".
