Orchestra tours Israel

The Young Philharmonic Orchestra Jerusalem Weimar played to enthusiastic audiences in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem in October, delighting the lovers of classical music. A joint project of the Franz Liszt Hochschule für Musik in Weimar and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, the orchestra was formed in 2011 to promote German-Israeli cultural exchange. As one of the  supporters of the latest performances, the State Development Corporation of Thuringia appreciated the opportunity to Show - together with the young musicians – Thuringia’s attractive qualities as a place to live and work.
