- Legal advice for the construction and operation of plants for the generation of power from regenerative energies such as wind power plants, photovoltaic plants, water power plants, bio-mass plants, bio-gas plants, geo-thermal plants, and combined heat power plants. - The consultancy captures issues centering around the special energy law pursuant to the Act on Renewable Energies (EEG) and the Act on the Power Producing Industry (EnWG) (e.g. mains connection, distribution of connecting costs, reimbursement of power fed in), the approvals under public law pursuant to the Thuringian Ordinance on Construction (ThBauO), the Civil Code (BGB), the Law Concerning the Protection against Harmful Effects on the Environment through Air Pollution, Noise, Vibrations, and Similar Factors (BImSchG), the Water Resources Act (WHG), contract designing (feeding contract, construction contract, main contractor contract, roof leasing agreement).
- When plants for the generation of power from renewable energies are designed and operated, questions may emerge from the specific energy law directly and independently from the energy source utilised, especially in relation to the application of the Act on Renewable Energies (EEG) or the Act on the Power Producting Industry (EnWG).
