The companies supported by LEG have invested around EUR 13.1 billion, creating or protecting some 82,000 jobs. A large number of global corporations have been successfully recruited to set up business in Thuringia, including Chinese global market leader for battery cell production Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL), Rolls-Royce/Lufthansa Technik joint venture N3 Engine Overhaul Services and Daimler subsidiary MDC Power GmbH.
